This really is my home page. It's about my new home in Denmark.I've been here since May of 2007 now, and I've come to discover that it's a fine place to live. Some of the first things I noticed when I moved to Denmark was how clean the streets were and that there were flowers everywhere. I've heard Denmark described as a fairytale country, and that's true in many respects.

I've been here 4 years now, and I still love this country. It's everything the US could/should have been. I feel very much at home here, even though many people speak too fast for my Danish language skills. Denmark is not perfect, but what place is? The taxes are ridiculously high and you can't make a right turn on a red light. But overall, I like it.
I live in a brick villa--at least that's what this style of house is called in Denmark. I'd describe it as a brick ranch-style house, built in the mid-1960's
The house is built somewhat in a U shape, with one leg of the U being a bit longer than the other. Most of the house is behind what you see here. The two windows on the right are in the kitchen, the smaller narrow windows are for the bathroom and toilet. In back, with plenty of privacy and large picture-glass windows are the bedrooms, my office, the hobby room (my husband's office), and the livingroom/dining room
The back yard is the best.
